Color Brick Red

A circular design, seamless knit and made for usage. The Merino Beanie is chunky and soft, is made from 5 ply 100% Cradle to Cradle Gold Certified™ Merino Wool yarn and knitted with a knit & wear technique. This means that no linking, cutting or sewing is needed. We knit and you wear.

The Half Cardigan stitch creates a distinctive ribbed texture that offers both insulation and stretch. As time passes, the stitch adapts to the wearer's head, resulting in a comfortable and tailored fit.

Our second collaboration project with KNITWEAR LAB. The goal: Creating a chunky beanie with seamless construction and good shape retention that could become everyone’s favourite. The challenge was all about finding the perfect balance between the 5 ply of yarn the Half Cardigan stitch and the countless needles involved to make this seamless beanie become reality

  • 100% 19.5µ Extra-Fine Merino wool from Australia
  • RWS certified & mulesing free sheep
  • Combed 2/30 NM, Cradle to Cradle Gold Certified™ Arkaba yarn
  • 5ply, 3.5 Gauge, Half Cardigan stitch
  • Weight 85 grams
  • Seamless knit & wear, Single fold

Due to high tension of the knit for longevity the fit can feel bit tight at first but after a couple of wears this beanie will mould to your head like a custom made piece.

Our informal instructions

This head piece could not be easier to care for, that is, if you choose to care for it all. If you do, we recommend a gentle wash by hand, with a soft detergent intended for wool fibers.

In case the rib starts to lose its elasticity, you can easily recover it by using a steamer or an iron with a steam function. Do not press the iron on the rib but hoover it over.
